I am in the middle of getting the parts to finish rebuilding my computer since it has started acting wonky. I've picked up a new cpu, motherboard, ram and I have my graphics card that I'll be reusing. However, I'm at the point I don't know what I really need for a power supply. I've been told everything from 500w to 750w but I'm on a budget as this was an unplanned rebuild. I don't know if you need to know the uses of the computer but its going to be heavy graphics (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) as well as gaming.

So, basically, I need to find a good psu that is relatively inexpensive. I know you really shouldn't skimp on it but my budget is around $60-$75 bucks give or take, since again this wasn't planned.

As far as the components I already had or had to pick up:

CPU: i5 4670K 3.4GHz
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Gene Socket LGA 1150 mATX Intel Motherboard
GPU: Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 650
RAM: 8 gb (2x 4gb) DDR3
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200 3TB

Thank you for your help.

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 650 graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 400 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 20 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

Both of these support Intel Haswell CPU C6/C7 Low Power State. The 7 Year warranty doesn't hurt either.

Thanks guys. But I found this one:

CX Series CX750M 750 Watt ATX Modular Power Supply
http://www.microcenter.com/product/406089/CX_Series_CX7...

It was 64.99 after a $20 rebate. I figure I'd rather get a good PSU now and be able to add another GPU then get something smaller and have to upgrade when I get the second card.
