I feel like I made a terrible mistake.... I ordered from Cyberpower instead of building my own because I didn't want to screw up and be out 740$. Being the person I am I went to look up reviews about them and 70% was all negative. Are they really that bad? Will I be screwed if I don't stop my order? Sorry for such a long post BTW.. I am just worried I will be screwed!

I mean to point out ; coolant;
standard coolant. What Imean WTF does that mean? Is that a deal whereby for an extra 10$ they pretend to use a better cpu paste whilst not admitting the standard one is not good enough? Cyber power my Hamptons!

Couldn't I just get a new PSU and switch it out for the no name one? Would make more sense to just replace if that's the only part that would make the system fail. Would I need a 600W PSU? What's the lowest watt PSU I could get so I know if my friends is alright to use? Other than that anything else that would screw me over? And when they say "Standard Case Fans" does that mean they have no extra fans? If so will the ones pre installed be enough?

You will be better off canceling you order. But if you don't want tot do that then replacing your PSU with a Seasonic M12II 620W would do the job.

You can get away with a quality 500W-550W power supply if you wanted to. By standard case fans they mean the fans that come with you case. The pre installed fans will be enough though.

I will highly recommend you cancel your order while you still can and avoid wasting your money. You can build a way better PC for your hard earned 750$.

This is irritating me.. I just informed my dad about it, and he claims this is all crap and that the power supply is fine and that I am reading to many bad reviews. I told him that we should cancel and build myself but he flipped out. Then I told him we need to buy a new power supply then.... but then it voids warranty.... UGH!! Can you show me a system for the same amount that is "better" I need a OS Headset, keyboard and mouse under 750. Already ordered monitor from NCIX.

I don't know how good of a headphones you want but I only manged to get a 20$ one in there. Also, there is no optical drive included. You can get one for 15$ if you want to.

I understand your father. It is common for a lot of people to overlook the power supply which even I did when I built my first PC five years ago but after learning from my mistake I never did the same mistake again. Try to talk to your father and make him understand why you need a good power supply (Which even I did :p). You may want to show him these: https://www.google.co.in/#q=computer+power+supply+blew+up+news

Good Luck!

Well I tried to talk my dad into it and he said no. I told him to go talk to his friend matt about it who builds computers for a living. And he said the odds are higher for a no name psu to explode, but this can be prevented by using a surge protector is this true? And all those posts about psu blowing up where 8/10 times the owner being stupid. Like trying to take mobo out and replace ram while still connected to psu....or them letting the psu cables come into contact with a conductable surface. Or my favorite....turing thr pc on after the psu started to crackle which the surge made it explode. So as long as I dont touch anything inside, and use a surge protector I should be fine right?

Even no name PSUs are different. Some of them can be good but most of them aren't but most of them will not explode but will provide lesser wattage then rated (500W in itself in minimum for your PC), heat up, lesser efficiency etc. Using a surge protector will help but not a lot I'm afraid.

If you can't correct your mistake just make sure you don't do it again in the future. If anything happens then just blame it on your father :p .

So in worse case would a 600w provide enough? If their wattage meter works it said i need 430w. So even if it doesn't supply the full 600w should i be fine?
