Hi All,
I'm attempting to build myself a gaming desktop to play Elder Scrolls online mainly, as well as general office use. This will be my first build. I'm not particularly tech savvy however i can call upon a friend of mine who builds computers if I get stuck.

There's not really a budget as i can get parts as and when i have cash and put them together at the end but we are trying to stay below £650- £700.

The parts so far are

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2PYfM

and for the case

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cit-Mars-Midi-Tower-Gaming-Ca...

Fingers crossed those links are ok.

My question is basically will those parts be ok for my needs or have I cheaped out; and also although I don't intend to do any overclocking (too clever) would i be better off going for the i5-4670k?

Any advice or input is very much appreciated. Sorry for the essay. Thanks a bunch guys! :)

It's only for the case and at £30 it's not the end of the world, I was more worried about the components. I'll take your advice though and get it somewhere else. :)

You could cheap out on the motherboard. No overclocking means H87 instead of Z87 would do the job.
Also, with no overclocking you dont need to buy a separate cpu fan, you get one with the cpu.
Heres my changes:

Bigger psu and a much faster gpu in the list, allowing for max settings in elder scrolls online and a lot of mods in skyrim (if you play that game).

And its within your budget :-)

Possibly if youre only going to play Elder scrolls online, you could keep the 270X and 430w on the list, and instead buy the i7 4770
