a machine im considering putting together, will be my first time and doing it on somewhat of a budget. will be primarily gaming on this machine. Any advice or red flags would be appreciated, if you see something and know of a part that is better but costs more within reason (obviously due to performance) will be heavily considered and appreciated as well.

CPU: Intel Core i3-2120 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LK ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 7870 2GB Video Card
Wireless Network Adapter: Rosewill RNX-N250PCe 802.11b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Cooler Master GX 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

comes out to about 709, including rebates, shipping and whatnot, fluctation due to these isnt a big concern of mine, while id like to be in the 650-750 range. Noise, power efficiency ( i hope im not in the greenest area of the internet ) also not of too much importance to me.

After looking back on it I did change it once more (new link here)
CPU: I change it from a I3-2120 to a I5-4570. The I5-4570 was released 2nd quarter of 2013, quad core, runs on the newest socket type 1150, it's 22 nm and is the newest generation from intel, while the I3-2120 was released 1st quarter of 2011, duel core, runs on 1155 socket type, it's 32 nm.
Motherboard: Well the CPU I picked needs a 1150 motherboard and getting a better CPU is a better choice then...

RAM: I changed this just to be cheaper.
GPU: I was looking at the price of Radeon 7870s and it's a great bang for your buck
PSU: more power and pretty much the same.

Also do you have a OS?

P.S. I would like to add that I do have the CPU, Motherboard and PSU I am recommending you.
