I've had a Sony Bravia for about 3 to 4 years now, I've been wanting to connect it to the internet but it doesn't support a wireless connection :3

I've set up a bridge connection through my laptop then connected my laptop to the TV via Ethernet but I can't find the correct IP, DNS, GATEWAY and so on.

Would really appreciate an answer

It may not work, it depends on how the wireless router is working. It might work if you run with no encryption on the wireless which is a very bad idea. Likely the problem is the router is seeing the tv mac address coming in. Because the session and the encryption is based on mac when it sees the second mac its hard to say what it does since there is only suppose to be one. The PC nic would need special support for bridging or something to hide this from the router.

Likely the best solution is to run ICS on the laptop which allows the TV to share the laptops mac and ip to the wireless.

I did a similar thing for a while, connecting a Blu Ray player through a bridge. It worked just fine. My suggestion is, if you can, get an Ethernet cable and set up the TV with a wired connection, then plug the TV into the bridge. If the bridge is properly set up, the TV should not notice the difference.
