Hi,

I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card on my current system.

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
Gigabyte 880GM-USB3
Sapphire Vapor-X HD 5770

Would it be a good idea to upgrade to a R9 280X or R9 270?
What I really want to know is if there would be a bottleneck or something like that?

Thanks.

Solution
Run a benchmark on the system 3 times, reboot between each run, average the scores. Overclock the video card, run the same benchmark again, if the score is higher the second time, you can upgrade the video card. The 280x is well over what your CPU can handle, 270 or 270x would be a much better choice. The 270 probably.
