New processsor - socket 775

Hello everyone.A few weeks ago my I5 and mobo fried due to overheating.How?Well I opened my pc to clean it from dust,I took down the cooler(stock) to clean the fan,and forgot to plug it back.After about 20-30 min,the PC shut down,and it started to smell like smoke.I took the pc out,and found that the mobo and cpu completly fried.After that I took the PC to someone to change MOBO and cpu,and he put P5PL2 and Pentium D 925.I can't play any games that I used to play,like Far cry 3,Crysis 3,Black Ops 2,etc.Now I wanna change the CPU to something better.So my question is,what is the best socket 775 CPU up to 80-90$ that can run the newest games decently?I don't except to play them at 1080 Ultra settings,but decently.
An aditional request:Could you guys suggest like 2-3 Cpu's,because I am from Romania,and I might not found the CPU's you guys suggest.
Note:My gpu is Nvidia Geforce GT630 4gb ram ddr3 and 4 gb ram

Q9550 would be goood, but you really should ask for your money back, selling you a 775 was really poor of them, as it is 3-4 generations old.

Hello 13thmonkey,I did not bought it from a store,I have a friend that worked for Microsoft,and I took the PC to him,and he put what he had in the house,for 30 bucks.For 30 bucks I couldn't complain,Mw2 is working,but the PC is slow...And q9550 is like 300 bucks...I need something that is like 80-90 bucks,max 100...

I don't know romanian shops, ebay will have q9550's for cheap, i sold my last one for £80 2 years ago.

About your problem, I don't think you will find something for this socket at reasonable prices since it is pretty much a dead socket. 300$ is too much for an outdated processor so you should just wait until you can afford a new mobo+CPU and possibly a new GFX card as well because your GPU is pretty weak.

Ok,after I saw all your comment,I think it's time to change Mobo+CPU+ram.I though about Athlon II X4 750K Black Edition.The thing is that I haven't found a mobo.I need one that is about 60-70 bucks.Could ya guys suggest me one?

But you will need more money for the ram and a decent graphic card.
