My Mac Pro has stopped booting. When I hit the power button, all that happens is that the GPU fan spins like mad; nothing going to my monitors, no chime, nothing. This happens with no peripherals attached, just the displays, mouse and keyboard. Very rarely it'll chime, at which point it displays the question mark folder icon on my primary display. I haven'y been able to find any help for this situations online, I'm hoping you guys can help me out.
I should add that I just received this system from someone that didn't want to deal with it, so I'm not sure which version of OS X it has installed. Thanks in advance.
