I had set in mind to get the i5-4670k but after seeing a benchmark comparison to the FX-8350 and a little research i am conflicted. I want to game, which i read that the 4670k is better for, but i also want to multi-task for my studies which have been in computer programming but thinking of switching to engineering or science. I want my options open besides just gaming.
My budget is ~$500 for my build without a GPU (already have a Geforce GTX 550 ti which will be a 760 soon) so I want the best value and the 8350 is looking really good.
Also at my nearby Microcenter both CPU's cost $179.99 which didn't help.
