I am putting together a bitcoin mining PC and i am trying to find a good open air case and cant find anything.

I was also wondering if anyone knows if i can use two power supply's on one PC because i cant find a 1500w power supply anywhere. like taking two 1000w and hooking them up somehow and is this safe to do?

thanks in advance for all your help,

Right now with the high difficulty of bitcoin mining, it might be a while before you can even think about breaking even.

That being said.. power supplies.

Most gpu miners dont use cases, just place them in open air. And yes, most miners also use 2 or more power supplies. you can hook one up to the mobo to start and start the others using the paper clip test

If you are doing this for a long time I'd get one of the ATX splitters. Much easier to turn on two PSUs.

What I was thinking of isn't going to work. I'd probably splice some wires into the connector at the motherboard and run them to the green/black wires on the second PSU. That way the one power button controls both PSUs.
