should i buy a xbox one pc combo or just a pc

well i sold my laptop for $500 dollars which will get me a decent rig and i found this xbox one for 311 dollars. now if just go with pc i can put about $800 dollars and a monitor and then a gaming mouse and keyboard

Given that the Xbox One is literally a mainstream gaming PC, I'd only recommend getting one if you want the exclusives for the console, like Forza 5, or Ryse.

Other than the exclusives, a good gaming PC will be far more useful and better for gaming than any console could ever be.

Not to mention that games are usually much cheaper on PC thanks to Steam sales.

yeah that is a good point but i kinda want both for a best of both worlds feel i guess cause i like halo but i also like dayz which i want a pc for

Well, there's also the friend option. You could get the PC and mooch some Xbox One time from a friend. ^^;
No use spending a bunch of money on a console for just 2-3 games.

Of course, if you only want the PC for DayZ, the same rule applies. Why spend the money for 1-2 games?

I always prefer the PC because there is so much more it can do that a console can't. (Even beyond gaming.)
