Is it possible to have 2 different RAM in the computer?

I have 2 sticks of Vengeance LP RAM.

And 2 sticks of Dominator Platinum.

Vengeance: 1866 Mhz CL10 2x8192 Mb

Dominator platinum: 1866 Mhz CL9 2x8192 Mb

Motherboard: Maximus VI hero

Will it work to have these 2 RAMs on the same board?

well since you have 2 of each, put similar ones in the dual channel slots, which are often colored the same. If you have 4 slots on your motherboard, you'll have 4x8GB in dual channel, but if they aren't in the dual channel slots, then you'll have 32GB in single channel.

With that much memory, I'd make a ramdisk for game caches

Yes, but you would need to turn down the CL timings of the vengeance ram to the same as the dominators for increased stability, otherwise it would run (although not recommend)
