Best GPU to pair with a A-10 6700 APU with Crossfire support

Yeah that is the purpose. To give someone more graphics in a smaller space basically. Though some of the microATX boards that come with an APU have PCIe x16 slots. Some even have the up to date 3.0 PCIe x16 slots for new GPU's to coexist with the APU graphics.
