Will I gain a NOTICEABLE difference in my gaming between a GTX 760 and a GTX 770?

MSI-Z87 GD65 for the motherboard.

Non SLI. Single card, possible SLI later.

EVGA, MSI, or ASUS for the nonr-eference?

Among these non-reference cards, which one will:
Perform better?
Be quieter?
Run cooler?

Is the cost difference worth moving up to the 4GB versions of each card?

Which one SHOULD last longer?

Aesthetics are irrelevant.

20-25% better performance with the 770. For 1080P resolution 2GB card is still plenty and all the brands you name are good. Individual gaming performance may vary 1-3fps depending on amount of factory OC. You will be happier with the GTX770 performance longer.

personally, 4GB 770, it's got the grunt to use more than 2GB of vram, which my belief is that the next round of games will end up doing.

If you want to SLI later, go for a 4GB 770 with the reference cooler. If you probably won't SLI get a 2GB EVGA ACX 770. You will definitely notice the difference between a 760 and 770. As long as you are at 1080p, get the 2GB model

if you plan to use sli, get the 4gb cards, sli 2 cards of 4gb each = 1 better card with 4gb. so 2gb cards may be too little once you sli. for a single card 760 2gb is plenty as it will bottleneck before it reaches the max ram...

770 is faster
