Size doesn't matter, running a Corsair H110.

Who's the most reliable brand?

Running on an MSI-Z87 GD65.

What speed will be necessary?

I'll be gaming, light video editing, and general use.

What will I gain by changing the memory clock (mHz?)

i5 4670K (overclocked of course.)

What CPU, that will be termining factor in how high you can go, though for what you list 1866/8 or 9 should prob be plenty, if you have a K model CPU can go higher which will improve the performance for the video work and if you multi-task, on Haswell I look first to the GSkill Tridents and Snipers
