Just wondering how my PC will perform with modern and upcoming games. (Battlefield 4, COD, Arma III, DayZ, etc. etc.)
(Note: Trying to keep the build under $600)

CPU: AMD FX 6300
Mobo: MSI 970a-G46
GPU: ECS GTX 660 ti 2GB
HDD: WD 1 TB Blue
Memory: 4GB Patriot Viper 3 1600mhz
PSU: EVGA 500w

Solution

Your CPU will max out before you get anywhere near the GPU, because BF4, etc. are now CPU Hogs. Everyone whom has FX 4xxx and FX 6xxx are now looking to getting a FX 8xxx just to be competitive, because the FX 6xxx is nearly 93-100% usage on all cores when playing BF4 (there is more then rendering the 'graphics' in the nexgen games, there is alot of AI, physics of objects, and other 'under the hood' stuff needing to be processed by the CPU as...

Cool thanks for the help.

The Nvidia 6xx series is now showing it's age, and within the next year or two be too 'poor performance' to be worth keeping (as normal in PCs). You can get away with it for a but longer, but you should plan as well to immediate replace it this year.

A gtx660ti is about the level of performance of the gtx760 so saying it will be low end in a year is not really accurate because the 760 will show its age just the same. I have a 660ti and I can pretty much max all games at 1080p and run everything else at high.
