I heard that windows 8 + ssd might be a very fast boot up. I realize that it is really fast when I got into the hard drive and start boot from it. But it is weird, every time i boot up, it will shows my GPU name (GTX 760 blah blah blah version) at the right top corner of the black screen for awhile and only boot into my motherboard (Asus). Everything is working fine, but i just curious why the graphic card status took so much time from me. Anyone can help me ? Thanks for advance!

i7-4770
Z87-A (enabled fast boot)
GTX760 dual fan OC version (Leadtek)
8gb Ram
ssd (120) + sshd(1tb) + 160 (really old hdd)
PSU (620 watt Cooler master)

PS: Tried plugged out extra hard drive, but still the same

Solution
Its weird, ive been experiencing the same problems.

Try to disable fast boot since you have ssd. It can actually make your boot slower (i tried it, about 5 seconds slower).

Also, change the boot priority in bios, and allow less programs run on startup.
