hello, i am helping a friend find the best option to build a pc for £500 max. this pc is going to be used for gaming, recording and so on. so can someone please help us by picking parts that will perform at the best for the budget and all work together.

lets start with what do you already have?

a copy of windows is £80. monitor say 100

keyboard and mouse 30+

thats £210 straight away

ok it is just the parts for the tower nothing else keyboard windows and stuff like that is getting bought out of that budget

What do you mean "gaming, recording and so on"? What kind of games and does "so on" include video editing?

yes gaming, editing and recording. the games will the best the pc can do i guess for the £500

Intel Core I7 4770k | its top of the line
XFX AMD Radeon HD 7770 | I've had good experiences with these cards, they perform well too
Gigabyte H87 | Just guessing here, it fits the processor and has plenty of expansion and is a trusted brand
Corsair CX750 | Seems like a suitable amount of power for all of this, and is a trusted brand
WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive | Just a standard drive with plenty of space
8GB of Ram should be suitable, this kinda goes over budget tho
