Gaming PC Help

Hello, i have a pretty old Desktop PC and i was wondering if i would be able to use parts from it to build a Gaming PC. It's a HP Pavilion a675of. I'm pretty new at this so i'm not sure what i need to do. I'm not looking for the best parts or anything but enough to run regular games smoothly.

From what i heard, i think my power supply is pretty low so i assume i would have to upgrade it or something.

You can get a low to medium grade gaming machine by replacing the power supply and adding a graphics card. The power supply wattage will depend on what card you can afford. Anything past that and you might as well build a new one from scratch.

A Radeon 7750 should run in that system on the stock power supply, but you won't get smooth play in newer games unless you run on lower settings and lower resolutions. It will be a lot better than the stock video card though.

Without replacing the CPU, you probably can just keep the upgrade to a low end video card like the 7750 anyway, anything higher you'd start to run into issues with the CPU holding the video card back. I'd just recommend a Radeon 7750, keep the rest as is, unless you plan on upgrading the motherboard and CPU as well as the power supply and video card.
