the Asus H87 is support overclocking like Z87 gigabyte and this was the only difference.

If you are planning on buying a non 'K' cpu, the asus motherboard is a better bet long term. You pay for what you get, its that simple.
There is nothing wrong with gigabyte per say, but I would trust the asus
more. Like I said, I bought an H87M-plus for £72.90 and that is a bit too cheap for a Z87 board.
To be perfectly honest, a non clocking cpu like an i5 4440 will play games as well as an overclocked cpu anyway, so this big budget overclocking game seems a bit expensive.

I wouldnt COUNT on the H87 asus board overclocking. The c2 revision bios coded boards might not, or not have all the functions.
I have one and it looks a little bare , but I dont have a k chip so cant really tell.
