I recently realised that my i7 3770k is reaching temps of 75oc when playing bf4 but when i ran intel burn test on maximum for 10 runs my cpu maxed out at 650c and i am using a h100i. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

i had this problem once. it was because of the fans in my case did not work and the heat did not go out from the case.
maybe your case can't handle your gpu and all the heat inside' what is the temperature of your gpu during the game?

I'm assuming the "o," and "0," are attempts at a degree character?

75c does strike me as a "little" high for simply playing a game, especially for a 3770K attached to an H100i. What was your overclock on the CPU prior to? 65c on an Intel Burn test though seems normal, if not a little low for that kind of test. My 4770K almost melted to the board when I ran one of those on a ~4.4GHz OC attached to an H80i.

In any case those temperatures are perfectly normal for the CPU itself. As long as you don't top 80c for very prolonged periods of time, you should be fine.

The overclock was 4.5Ghz and thanks for the help and giving me some temps to aim for.
