I plan to upgrade my motherboard so I can add a decent GPU. My current RAM is compatible with this new Motherboard. My Question is, will I have any disabling problems if I do not install new RAM and instead use my old ram in a new motherboard? I will also be re-installing Windows 8. Also, I have two sticks of RAM, one is two GB, and the other is four GB.

Unless you are looking for better ram performance, there should be no detriment in running your current ram, I'll suggest using it.
