Hello,
I am using a new case with 4xUSB3.0 slots on the panel with the power button. I am also using a HDD hot-swap bay with 2xUSB3.0 slots on it.
The motherboard i am using (ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0) only has a single USB3.0 header, which i am using for the latter (HDD hot-swap).
Can the two remaining USB3.0 connectors/cables (4xUSB3.0 Slots) coming from the power button panel be adapted to the two available USB2.0 headers on the motherboard?
Aside from speed, Are there going to be any electrical / power issues with this? Would 4xUSB3.0 slots function (at USB2.0 speeds)?
Cheers!
