So while playing Guild Wars 2 I am having this issue where my game will freeze, the screen will go black and then it will come back on and I can continue playing for a while before it does it again. Is something overheating? One of my fans also sounds like it is working extremely hard. I'm not sure if my computer just can't handle the game or what. Here are my specs:

Intel Core i7 CPU @ 2.67 GHz 2.67 GHz
6GB RAM
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit OS
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series graphics card

The system requirements for the game can be found here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Running_the_game

All help is much appreciated. Thanks.

85C is hot but GPU's are rated to go into the 90's if the games you play are pushing the comp a bit harder than that furmark test is it could be the cause. try running the comp with another fan over the gpu or near a cool open window. see if lower temps solve anything/
hmmm its an older card, but powerful, and that game was released around the same time..so I don't think its drivers. it could very well be overheating of the GPU, can u run a furmark test? 1080 with at lest 2X MSAA, try 4X MSAA or 8X if 2 doesn't push it hard enough. wat is the max temp reading? let it run 10 min first

I did a burn-in test at 8X MSAA for 10 minutes and the max temperature was reading 85C.
