200mm desktop case side fan screw size?

Hey everyone,

The 200mm side fan for my Gigabyte Sumo Omega case just died and I had a 200mm fan from my old Cooler Master Storm Sniper case laying around so I thought I could just replace it with that. However upon closer inspection I found the screw on the CM Storm fan is a lot thinner than the Gigabyte one. I thought there is a universal screw size for all fans. So now when I look online for a 200mm fan I don't know where to look for the screw size. Has anyone ran into this problem before?

Any help would be appreciated!

typically they are universal, I have only heard of different screw sizes for situations where you are going through the fan into the radiatio (longer screw)
i personally havent run into this problem. try maybe going to your local computer or hardware store to find screws.
