HELP. Trying to get 120hz with alienware 14x r3.

well that laptop won't come close to 120fps in 1080p... but if you insist on getting the most out of it, all the outputs it has will work at 120hz... including the minidisplay port, the hdmi and the vga port.
if its not giving you 120fps it's because it's no where near strong enough to do so. not because the connection medium is wrong.
