Hi, I am currently in the process of choosing parts for my dad's PC for daily stock trading. He told me he wants to run 3 monitors that will have stock analysis programs running, web pages, news streaming etc. I'm thinking he needs a solid CPU for this like an i7 but for the graphics I'm not sure if he should go sli or crossfire and if he needs a high amount of memory on the Gpus and a big memory interface. Also for memory is 8 gb enough or more would be usefull? The budget is about 1500$ for the PC so if you guys could recommend some parts that would be awesome and some monitors :)

Thanks in advance for your input

he needs an office PC. you're trying to build a gaming PC. an i7? SLI/crossfire? any modern GPU can run 3 displays. He's not rendering intensive 3D graphics he's looking at a line and webpages...

Get a $500 computer with a pentium and a micro-atx motherboard with 2 hd 5450's (not in crossfire) and your set. Other basic stuff or whatever you want. (~400w psu, 1tb hdd, 8gb ram, a proper mobo, and case that fits it).

Did you make a thread about this a while ago?
