Just Upgrading from AMD to Intel and I'm pretty sure they will work together nicely but I would just like anthers' opinion before I buy them.

If this is mainly for gaming, the 4770k is overkill and so is that motherboard. Get the 4670k and the ASRock Extreme4 Z87 then you'll have enough for a 780

kinda for gaming but mostly for video editing and stuff along those lines..

Okay then it makes sense to get the i7 but you can still get the ASRock Extreme4 motherboard
