mini-itx is expensive... and i was trying to build in that budget with an intel... it just wasn't going to happen without making a lot of serious sacrifices. So i went feature rich with an AMD build.

this one will game better... it's a bigger case, and doesn't have an ssd, so i can't really stand behind this one. but where as the previous one would nab you close to 60fps in any title at 1080p this one will nab you close to 100fps in any title at 1080p, so it definitely has more horses under the hood..

I would definitely take this build over the AMD. It's a solid build, and uses much less power which would be a positive for an ITX build that contains a motherboard with limited heatsink utilization. This motherboard only has 2 SATA ports and no USB 3.0 header, so keep that in mind, but it's still a heck of a board for the price. Also, the 4570 is $160 at Microcenter, which can be pricematched at a nearby Staples if one isn't available close by.
