that's a tough resolution... as it's a bit bigger then 4k...
two 770s with 4gb of ram would be a good place to start and should manage in most titles; call this the min settup for that resolutuion. I would suggest two 780s as the standard for that resolution and two titans or 780tis as the max for that resolution.
Don't forget that the new r9-290 and r9-290x both feature hardware frame pacing fixes and multi monitor support and will work in those settups as well. of course with the bitcoin mining craze getting those cards is hard... if you can get two 290s you should be able to game to your hearts content in those resolutions as well.

you will need at least an 850w PSU for that setup with or without oc on cpu/gpu's. You are looking at 40fps to 60fps with 770. I agree it would be min setup. The 290's are about about 10fps better on average with mixed game titles. If your keen on staying green then ti's would be comparable.
With 290/x you would as stated get the resolution with the fps your looking for. 2 x 290's will consume about 500w so your still ok with 850w. Hope that helps.
I personally play very well games such as hit man, tomb raider, crysis3, bf4, bioshok infinite and guild wars 2 with a mix of ultra and high settings at a constant 60 fps with a saphire tri x r9 290 oced to 1150/1400.
