Hello There, up till a few month back my old pc was serving me right,However,My key board suddenly started acting weird,(description):
Most of the time it's non responsive at all. it sometimes works but when it does it lags ALOT.

-Keyboard itself is working(tried it on my laptop),also tried another working keyboard, changed OS ,went into the bios to try the key board there ,still the problem persists

-Not a usb socket problem since the mouse works fine when plugged in it

-Just noticed something weird that happens when i put My laptop's Ac adapter in the same plug connection(Power strip) my Pc is plugged in, the usb connected key board exhibit the same behavior on the laptop, when i unplug the pc, the keyboard return to normal,So i deduced it's probably a PSU problem

-Disconnected the Psu from the case, jump started it on its own ,connected the laptop Ac adapter to the same plug connection,Usb connected keyboard still exhibits the same behavior on the laptop,so it's settled ,need new PSU.

Bought new PSU ,tried it ,voila problem solved, however, after a day worth of usage,i restarted my pc,an the problem is slightly back,so i decided to shut it down for a while.

Powered it on the pb is now slightly worse, after a couple more restarts the pb is fully back ,just like the old psu

Would really appreciate the help guys,it really is driving me mad

Solution
I reread what you said several times and I really think we need to take a step back and eliminate 'the basics' first before we jump to different solutions.

the basics:
If you have Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) that is garbage and you need to uninstall it first
go to www.filehippo.com and download / install AVAST! or AVG and have them to a FULL SCAN of your computer.
downloaded and run MALWAREBYTES to run a full scan and clean the PC, Malware is DIFFERENT then viruses
Download Slim Driver and make sure all drivers are up to date.
Download SPECCY and post the first tab here, this will give us also you IDLE temp
Download install MSI Afterburner, then run some games or other 3D apps, if you do crash, what was the temp?

Open the case, use canned air and blow out all the bunnies inside, use a paint brush on the vent , fans, grills, etc.

See where we stand once all these are done.

Sorry if it wasn't well written, i tried to be as clear as i could in my description, language barrier is to blame :(

Um i swapped my psu with a friend's,he showed the same symptoms while his psu worked well on my pc,i didn't test his psu for that long though because i'm pretty sure now it's something faulty with my home's electricity that keeps damaging the psu

THANKS ALOT for the answer though :)
