Hi guys, I'm looking into building a PC with some money I received for graduation/Christmas. I'm completely new at building, the only type of modification I've done is install a new video card to an HP tower. I want a computer capable of playing and streaming gameplay from games such as League of Legends, DayZ, and Garry's Mod at close to or above 60 FPS. My budget is right around $1000 and I found a model from CyberpowerPC that I think would work well and I would really appreciate any thoughts or modifications I should do to make it exactly what I need. Thank you so much for your help!

This is a terrible build for the money. It will barely play modern games at low settings. The GPU is FAR too weak.

Gary's mod and LoL are easy to max but for high settings in DayZ and other modern games you want a gtx760 or r9 270x.

So if I go ahead and pick one of those two, is the rest of the build okay? Or is there anything else I should change?

The rest is alright. I would change to a name brand PSU for quality though. It is the most important of a PC. Corsair, Antec, XFX, Seasonic are what you want.

My advice would be to not buy ANYTHING from cyberpow wow cowboy outfit pcbuilds.wigwamsmokesignal. They dont 'build' pc's as such, more throw them together from parts they pick up at bancruptcy auctions in job lots, and keep the tribe on full vacate reservation alert.
