Which SSD is better?

The PNY XLR8 PRO, or the Kingston SSDNow V300? They are both 120GB, both are $79.99, and both have 4 stars. The XLR8 sounds faster, but I know advertised speeds should be taken with a grain of salt. My instincts say to go XLR8 but I've been using two Kingstons, and they've worked fine so far.

So I need to know which is faster, and if one is more reliable.

Also, suggestions for anything in a similar price range are more than welcome.

(Also, as a note, my motherboard is only SATA II, though that's only relevant when comparing to my RAID set up -- will one of these drives be faster than my two slower drives in RAID? I'm sure they will, as they top at 261MB writes, but I want opinions.)

I'm on a fairly strict budget, and as my OS drive I need no more than 120GB
Speed and reliability are far more important that storage space for me right now.
So to that end. it would be a worse option.

I know, but I will be upgrading to a faster motheboard and CPU later.

This will get me off of RAID so it'll be easier to switch and I can distribute my other SSDs to other computers.
I just need enough to replace my current 128GB so I can spread them out without losing any data on my part.

One of these PCs will only need about 20-60GB and I want to get an SSD that isn't much more than a 60GB SSD. where we find this one being only $30 more than the cheapest 64GB.

Okay, I'll consider that one, but between the two I have listed, which do you think is better?

I can do without the cloning software; I'm looking at drive vs drive, nothing more.
I can easily clone it with other software that I have.

So, if the XLR8 is faster than the more expensive drives, and is about as likely to fail, then that's the one I want.
