i just build my computer and i have bin having problems. The computer screen freezes randomly I was wondering what might cause this i tries updating drivers, rolling them back, changing the operating system to be on the hard drive I am stumped at this point, also when the screen freezes, i have to reboot the computer also after the screen freezes the fans continue, specifcations is a i7-4771 prossesor, 16gb of ram, motherboard gigabyte H87-D3H, a Corsair AX1200 (1200 watt ),operating system is Windows 8.1 pro . any idea and how to fix. Thanks

Solution
it could be the power supply, have you checked to make sure both the 20/24 pin and the 8 pin ATX cables are firmly secured? my 8 pin can come knocked loose kinda easy when messing with RAM sticks
when looking for help in a computer forum ,it helps to tell us the specifications of the computer...processor, how much RAM, motherboard model, power supply wattage and brand, preferably the model too...operating system? windows XP? vista? 7? 8? kinda in the dark here
