Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/nutmegg24/saved/3HQI

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX AM3+
Mem: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
Storage: Sandisk ReadyCache 32GB 2.5" SSD & Western Digital RE3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM HD
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB
WIFI Adapter: Rosewill RNX-N250PCe 802.11b/g/n PCI-Express x1
Case: Corsair 500R White ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply: Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

I've researched every part to the best of my ability and I'm pretty happy with this. I'm still quite worried about a couple things though.
I don't plan to initially overclock. But if, in the future, I were to purchase new cpu fans and case fans, would I be able to decently overclock my processor with the current part combinations?
I'm also worried about the video card. I know it's definitely not top of the line, but I'm not exactly a hardcore gamer. Right now I occasionally play Skyrim & Assassins Creed off of a QVC (definitely non-gaming) laptop, so I think this video card would fit my current needs well. I can always upgrade in the future. Is this good?
Finally, I know a 500W power supply is a little over what I need, but if I ever do decide to overclock and upgrade my video card I don't want to have to buy a new power supply. Would 500W do what I want it to?
I don't have a strict budget so I'm open to all suggestions.

Thank you so much in advance <3

it is a revision of your build with the best bang for the buck parts

8320 is cheaper brother of 8350, it performs the same if you OC
dual channel ram 2x 4GB
cheaper mobo for OC, my favorite
add cpu cooler 212 evo
better PSU, 80+ gold from rosewill
cheaper case
better GPU using Radeon 260X
SSD 128GB is the only option, 32GB will not make it

Since you dont have a strict budget, why not just pick a price margin and let the guru's here help you out with a great build on the budget you want to spend, all with decent prices and better quality. and i love that asus board, im running the version before it only with a gtx 650 tho and im running a 600w psu and a 4170 with no oc.

Because I'd rather hand pick each part myself, it's exciting haha. Glad to hear that about the mobo!

it is, but who says you have to go with what they say, its gives you aa "area" to go by and if you want to go that route then it works for the best. great thing about this forum is the different opinions everyone has on budget builds...i think alot of them secertly love it when a "budget" build is more than 2k so they can really shine.
