Have you tried 192.168.1.1 in your browser? That address tends to be the default for linksys routers, unless you specifically changed it to 192.168.1.2 (The reason a sucessful ping occurs for 192.168.1.2 is it could be assigned to a system on your network rather than the router itself). Additionally, if you do an ipconfig/all from a command line (start>run>cmd>type in "ipconfig/all" assuming you are on a windows machine). Look for the "Default Gateway" address, this should be your router. Type that address into your web browser and you should be good to go. - Sub

Odd, just for giggles try using https instead of http, and then type using :80 to designate port 80 afterwards (192.168.1.2:80). You could also try a port scan of the IP, see if any ports are open besides 80. Maybe the default web port got switched. Could give 8080 a shot as well.

Beyond that, I can't think of much. Clearing your browser cache, maybe using a different browser or a different host to access it. You may have to resort to a hard reset (holding the reset button for 10 seconds +) Should restore the router to factory settings, which may be 192.168.1.1, so it could have a conflict by default if your switch is set to 192.168.1.1. Best of luck to ya from here - Sub

Thanks,
I have tried all the possible solutions given by you but can't access. I can reset but internet connection will disrupt for some time. I do not have the settings and should have to contact the service provider.

Can I know the port number of the gateway IP ?
