Chances are you'd need to flash the BIOS though, but that's not too hard. Other CPU's you could choose from can be found here: http://au.msi.com/product/mb/Z77A-G45.html#/?div=CPUSupport I'm still using a i5-2500K. It isn't really worth upgrading. If you haven't already, overclock it - should get an easy 4.0-4.2Ghz with stock air cooling. Upvote 0 Downvote
