Hey guys, I'm having a few issues. Tried messing with the BIOS on my graphics cards the other day, stuffed it up, ended up fixing it, ended up doing a fresh install of Windows 7. So computer was working fine. Just went to go and update my BIOS to UEFI before I starting OC'ing, and now I can't access the BIOS/Q-Flash, can't even select the boot options to do it via DOS. BUT, it still boots through to Windows 7. Taken out the motherboard battery to try and reset the BIOS but still doing the same thing. Changed display adapters, nothing.

It's a Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 motherboard. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks!

Some PCs with both PS/2 and USB connections are configured to only allow USB input after the POST. This means that if you're using a USB keyboard, it could be impossible to access BIOS. In that case, you'd need to connect an older PS/2 keyboard to your PC to access BIOS.
Also try pressing F2 key, if it could work. Good luck :)

I have previously been able to access the BIOS with the current USB keyboard I use. I literally downloaded the UEFI ready to flash it, and its as if the BIOS knew it was 'at the end of its time' and now is playing up. Just like that.

did you check with PS/2 keyboard, just to make sure. Or change usb ports for your keyboard if that does any magic.
