Hello,
apologies if i'm posting in wrong category.

i have recently built my new rig with the following specs:

GIGABYTE z77 UP7
3770K
CORSAIR 1200i
G.SKILL 16GB 2400mhz
MSI 770 LIGHTNING 2 way SLI
CORSAIR H110
CM StORM TROOPER

it overclocks well and has plenty of room to overclock further with this configuration. I'm having 3770K completely stable @4.5ghz with only 1.15V i.e slightly more than stock.

Anyway i have a question, i have connected the GPUs on 16_1 and 16_3 orange slots, every thing works perfect but my GPUs are showing they are connected to PCIe 2.0 x16 (both of them).
Though, in real time it doesn't make any much performance difference but just curious, why they are showing PCIe 2.0 x16 in GPU-Z ?? It should be PCIe 3.0 x16.

any ideas will be helpful.
thanks

Check in your BIOS that PCIe 3.0 is enabled.

Thank you Jacob. Yes, it is enabled. PCIe setting is set to Gen3. But it is still showing PCIe 2.0x16 for both cards
