Due to the corruption of pst files,Outlook becomes extremely slow and its performance starts to decrease rapidly.To recover this:-
First of all remove old PST files for this type SCANPST.EXE in the search box.
Under SCANPST.EXE application recovery tool windows is open and removes all damaged files. Then create new PST file.
1. And for Outlook 2010, on the file tab, click the arrow next to Account Settings, and then click Account Settings.
2. In the Account Settings dialogue box, on the Email tab, select your account and then click Repair.
3.When the repair is done, restart Outlook 2010.
If your PST files does not repair after using these manual steps then you can use third party tool to repair outlook 2010 files.
