Hello,

I asked about the same problem a few months ago on this forum, but I didn't manage to resolve it. Perhaps someone will know now.

It's a weird problem, I don't even know what to call it or how to search for it on Google. Basically, a few months back it started happening in all my games. Here's a few examples (watch in HD and full screen if possible):
Skyrim (it's noticable everywhere but focus on the grass, the straw roofs, walls...):

Europa Universalis IV (those striped areas in Mexico, country borders, water which isn't supposed to be that grainy...):

Cities in Motion 2 (go to 0:22):

As you might imagine, it can get really annoying. It makes everything very ugly. My graphic card is AMD HD 6950 and I got the newest drivers. The only thing that manages to solve (not completely, but a good improvement) is forcing supersampling through the catalyst. But that halves my FPS. And it used to be perfect without that. I even tested all those games on a laptop with Intel integrated graphics and they don't have that problem.

If anyone manages to even tell me what the problem is, I'd greatly appreciate it!

GPU failure, software could be messing with it, PSU may not deliver enough power. Unless you have a spare computer to test in this kind of problem can be a pain to pinpoint.

Damn, sounds bad. Unfortunatly I don't have a spare PC for testing. I'd take it to a service shop but I don't know if it's worth it since I'm planning to buy a new card soon anyway. So I'll just stick it out until then I guess.

If anyone has any other ideas, do let me know!

It's 1920x1080, and I'm using it. (sorry for the late reply, I thought it would email me when someone replies but it didn't this time).
