I have an IPISB-CU (Carmel2) motherboard - can I install a Core i7-3770k (Ivy Bridge)? I know that I can install a Core i7-2600 (Sandy Bridge) into this motherboard, but I can't seem to get my hands on one.
I know the 3770k has the same socket as the 2600. Do I need a BIOS update? Is this "upgrade" even possible?
