My laptop (Acer Aspire 5750G, x64, i5, windows 7) runs Nvidia Geforce 520M and some reason it automatically updated the driver to Nvidia 610M which gives it a yellow "!" next to it in device and printers.

Since its done that my laptop gets hot alot faster, it runs a little slower and all my games lag and spike.

I've downloaded a program to clear all nvidia components on my laptop and then i ran another version of nvidia 520M but it installs the 610M again and gives the same problem. I've tried a numerous amount of 520M versions and no hope.

someone help please?

I would remove that email adres,or you must like your mailbox full with whatever.
If you ask help here you get it here.

Try the next for the drivers,
http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/VGA/VGA_...
the next for PhysX,
http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/VGA/VGA_...
If you want to be sure for the intel gpu,
http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/VGA/VGA_...
Got those from here,
http://www.acer.nl/ac/nl/NL/content/drivers,
just look under select product=notebook->aspire->5750G

You could try the next for that,

tried that dude, it uninstalls the driver than it it'll just install the 610M driver again no matter what driver version i use...
is there a way to recover my whole laptop and system restore it to factory settings and drivers etc?

So if you use the prog. to get rid of the old drivers and you use my links to install the new ones you get the "!/?" as well in device manager? Also the gtx 610m?

You could back-up all important data and do a recovery,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmVT0Z9r6_Q
or download an iso of your windows version, make a boottable dvd or usb stick with it on that and do a fresh install.Make sure you have the product key, which should be on a sticker somewhere on your laptop.
Looks like these,
