Hi, I'm new here, I've recently built a pc using old components. it works perfectly, except constant loud "creee" sound from cmos speaker. it's there since machine turned on .it's not like a 'normal beep' . so i took out the cmos speaker because it's annoying. Now i wanted to know is it bad for my system or is it ok?
acually i tried with 2 different cmos speakers sound is still there
My specs,
gigabyte p31-ds3l motherboard
dual core e6300 processor
2 gb samsung ram
160 gb samsung hard
500w chinese power supply
radeon hd 3850 gpu

( sorry for the bad English since my primary language is not english.)
Really appreciate your help. thanks

thanks for the reply, i think board was manufactured on 2007. processor on 2009 , vga on 2007, hdd on 2006, i don't know about the ram but since it's ddr2 surely before 2010. it's a budget built gaming pc. do you think should i take the the board out and check for broken solder? or bad connections? If i should do please tell me how to do it. will those things cause me future troubles if I use it without a cmos speaker?
