I've decided to go with building my own pc. Main use will be for gaming but on occasion my wife needs to access her work pc through a vpn client. Her work IT dept is telling her the following:
· The VPN client will only function on a home PC that has a Microsoft 32-bit operating system installed, such as Windows 2000, Windows XP (32-bit), Windows Vista (32-bit) or Windows 7 (32-bit).
I have no issue going with windows 7 but was hopping to get more ram than my current xp system with 4gb.
Here's where I'm hoping the community will be able to help me out. Will windows 7 home or professional 64 bit be able to run this program? Even if it requires some sort of emulator. Or will I need to stick with a 32 bit system for the next 5 to 6 years.
Thank you for any help/info you can provide.
