Underclocking GTX xxx for increased stability workcard

Well, Quadros are not appealing and so would a GTX xxx underclocked be more stable? For commercial environment and video editing like AVID.

Oh thank-you everyone for your helpful opinions, I really really appreciate your time and effort. After all, most are only interested in games and anything remotely important is ignored. Oh silly me for asking, oh silly me.

hi, so what series of card are you looking for?
also if would be nice if you waited. some people are busy or doing other things. I was asleep (sorry)
NVidia cards are already stable, so there shouldn't be any problems. you could under-clock and under volt. but this would impact on performance.
I could recommend a card if I had a budget if this is what is needed.

Well I posted this yesterday!

No more than £300 and the quadro k2000 simply isnt appealing. performance doesn't need to be top notch as long as its faster than the similarly priced quadro. No firepros as some of the software doesn't support it.

sorry for the late reply, was at work. the msi n770 gtx seems to be perfect. it runs cool and quietly. outperformes the k2000 in most aspects, great card: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-n770tf4gd5oc
