I have a laptop running Windows 8 and it used to connect to my network just fine for the past year (connecting to dsl wireless). My daughter took the laptop to work a couple of days last week and connected to their network bought it home and it work fine for a day. Now it will not connect at all, it will display available networks and mine is still listed but when I click connect it fails. There is an asterisk (*) above the internet access on the task bar. I have uninstalled the drivers for the network adapters let windows reinstall it and it still will not connect. All of my other devices in the house connect with no problem.

Solution
