So I have the gtx 760 2gb gpu. I have an Acer 21.5 inch display and I want to get a second one. If I hook it up and play games on the primary monitor, and have the second monitor say for battle screen in bf4 or just browse the web on it while playing games, how much fps will be effected by it?
Full specs:
I7-4770 3.4 GHz
Gtx 760
G1 sniper z87 motherboard

Yes, it will be very small though. The more stuff you put on the 2nd monitor for the GPU to render, the more it will take away from the main monitor. Browsers hardly take any, including battlescreen. The GPU is smart enough to allocate only what it needs to for the 2nd monitor while fully pushing the rest of the resources on the main display for BF4.

Just don't throw a bluray movie or autocad on the second monitor while gaming :p.

I do the same thing. Run a 1920x1200 monitor for BF4 and a 1920x1080 monitor for battlescreen. I use my GPU for BF4 and the i7 iGPU for the 2nd monitor. That way you have a dedicated card for BF4 and the i7 has plenty enough power to run the 2nd monitor.

We have a bit of a problem. My monitor doesn't have a HDMI port so I won't be able to use the Intel integrated graphics. So how much of a effect will this have on fps if I just use one primary monitor and other one for browsing or something
