My internal SATA HDD was working fine yesterday after a fresh install of windows 7.
While I was downloading all of my drivers and normal applications the computer froze.
After a reboot of the system (I had to use the power swtich because the computer was un responsive). The computer will not recognize the HDD.
I am getting a message to "please insert bootable media into the selected drive, or select another drive to boot from".
I have never had anything like this happen before so I am wondering if the hdd is just dead now? I haven't had time to play around with it much because i am at work and it happened late last night. I did try unplugging the power and sata connection from the drive and reseating them
