Just got to make sure that your programs are x64 or 32bit for the 32bit version. In my opinion 64bit is slightly better then the 32bit mainly due to the fact you can use all of your ram in the 32bit version you only get to use 3.5 gigs at the most of your ram.

What programs are you looking for.???

For got to add that x86 is for 64bit versions.

And just letting you know that some will not work for either 32 or 64bit some are only meant for that windows OS.

Nah
All 32 bit programs work on 64bit. Just with the ram restriction. But 64 bit will not work on 32 bit os. It is backwards compatible :)

That is mainly due to the fact that they where made to be compatible with both versions 32 and 64 but there older programs that only run on 32 and only 64.

Okay i did some research you are right but very very few programs do this all new ones are backwards compatible :)
